Cyberbullying is a growing concern amongst Malaysian 

Cyberbullying, the use of electronic communication to intimidate or threaten individuals, is a growing concern that affects not only young people but also adults as well. It is essential to equip users with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent cyberbullying and create safer online communities.

Course Program Description 

The 10-hour course program will cover the following key modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Cybercrime

Understanding the different types of cybercrime, common threats, and the impact on individuals and organisations.

Module 2: Online Safety Practices

Implementing strong passwords, secure online transactions, and phishing email identification.

Module 3: Social Media Security

Protecting personal information on social media platforms, managing privacy settings, and identifying online scams.

Module 4: Device Security

Securing mobile devices and computers, software updates, and data backup procedures.

Module 5: Cyberbullying and Online Harassment

Understanding the impact and legal implications, reporting mechanisms, and self-protection strategies.

Module 6: Online Fraud and Identity Theft

Recognizing fraudulent schemes, protecting financial information, and identity theft prevention measures.

Module 7: Malware and Ransomware

Understanding different types of malware, antivirus software, and ransomware avoidance strategies.

Module 8: Online Privacy and Data Protection

Managing online privacy settings, data protection regulations, and responsible online behavior.

Module 9: Cybercrime Reporting and Response 

Procedures for reporting cybercrime incidents to authorities, seeking help from cybersecurity professionals, and post-incident recovery steps.

Module 10: Staying Informed and Updated

Resources for staying updated on emerging cyber threats, trends, and best practices.
